Terms of use

1. Who can use Yaarnama

You must be at least 18 years old. One person, one account. Keep your sign-in safe.

2. Your content

What you write stays yours. You allow us to store it and show it to the people it is meant for (and to print it if a printed book is ordered). Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

3. Be kind

Follow the community guidelines. We may remove content and put accounts on hold or close them if they break the guidelines or the law.

4. Books, keys and time limits

Every book has a secret key. Sharing the link and the key is your choice. A book owner can close a book, block a person or remove pages at any time.

5. Credits

Making a book costs 1 credit. Credits have no cash value, can't be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money. Invite & Earn rules:

  1. +2 credits when a friend installs from your link, signs in and opens Yaarnama for the first time; they get +1.
  2. Each new person counts once (reinstalls, second accounts and the same device don't count).
  3. Self-invites, fake accounts and automated installs aren't allowed; such credits may be removed.
  4. No limit on invites.
  5. At 0 credits: 1 free credit every 3 days, added when you open the app; free credits don't stack.
  6. Credits have no cash value; they can't be sold, transferred or exchanged for money.
  7. Rules may change; changes are shown in the app before they apply.

6. Rune Keys

A Rune Key is locked forever once forged (there is a 5-minute undo). We never sell reveals, clues or identities. You can delete a Rune Key at any time. Gifts and treats you send or promise with a Rune Key are free and just for fun: Yaarnama never takes or handles money for them, and keeping a treat promise is between the two friends.

7. Our service

We work hard to keep Yaarnama running and safe, but it is provided "as is". We may change or stop features. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses.

8. Ending

You can delete your account any time (Profile → Delete my account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

9. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in New Delhi have jurisdiction. Complaints: grievance officer Saurav Kumar Sinha, yaarnama.slambook@gmail.com, New Delhi (acknowledged within 24 hours, resolved within 15 days).
